Steve Weis is a software engineer in the applied security group at Google. He received a PhD in computer science from MIT where he was advised by Ron Rivest. Steve's interests include cryptography, security, theoretical computer science, pervasive computing, and economics. He currently lives in the Mission District in San Francisco.
